Engineering our Mounting Rails as a key roof rack component, provides another important advantage; industry-leading load ratings (150kg dynamic & 460kg static). Our unique engineering approach, utilises a boxed design that resists deformation at any singular point, which helps transfer forces to the strongest points on the vehicle roof. When our Mounting Rails are combined with our Planks and Half-Planks, we're able to deliver a Modular Roof Rack System that provides customers with an unrivalled combination of modularity and strength.

Customers can build the roof rack they want, and easily reconfigure it (add-remove-reposition components) whenever their needs change. Best of all, each Plank provides two channels for captive T-Nuts. This feature allows you to easily bolt accessories to the Plank at any point along the entire length.

We provide (4) Plank End-Caps; enough for (2) Planks. They bolt on easily and feature (7) slots.

For most customers, this KIT isn't required when using Chief Products ROOF RACK (2x Half-Planks).
